GARUT, KILAS24.NET (ENGLISH) - The government today plans to announce new pricing of fuel oil (BBM). For this type of diesel fuel fell by around USD 500 / liter and the type Premium fell less than USD 500 / liter.
Marketing Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Ahmad Bambang admitted that the government together with Pertamina currently discussing a new fuel pricing for January 2016. Whatever the government's decision will be, it is ready to run. However, Pertamina had no hope to the Government to consider the decision to lower fuel prices, because when oil prices rise, it is difficult to raise fuel prices again.
"Of course the government has a lot of consideration. We Pertamina only hope that the Government is also the non-elastic fuel prices on inflation, as well as the difficulty of raising prices when will the price of oil (crude oil) rose again," said Bambang, to detikFinance Wednesday, 23 December 2015.
Moreover, world oil prices no one can predict whether the next year will be down again this year as well.
"Who can ensure the oil price? The prediction may be, the proof of our state budget are still wearing the crude assumption of US $ 50 per barrel," he concluded.
The new prices will apply from 5 January.
